This new home completed in 2022 was built within the restored walls of a historic barn in an unspoiled rural location. The handmade pantile roof appears to float above the original walls while the zinc-roofed, larch clad extension complements the main range. A SIP’s (Structurally Insulated Panel) system was adopted to provide a time effective construction method which provides a good thermal performance and works effortless with an air source heat pump. The SIPs construction method was also highly beneficial in forming unobstructed vaulted ceilings which really helps to create a wow factor for this home.
